Our Nutritional Support Services
Kathryn "Kat" Diana
PMC, MSP, BCBA
At Lotus Behavior Analysis Therapy, we recognize that nutrition plays a vital role in your child’s overall health, development, and behavior, especially for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Proper nutrition supports physical growth, brain development, immune function, and emotional well-being, strengthening the foundation for progress in all areas of life.
Children with ASD often face unique challenges with food, such as sensory sensitivities, selective eating, gastrointestinal concerns, and nutrient gaps. These difficulties may contribute to deficiencies in key vitamins and minerals, including Vitamins D, B, A, C, E, folate, iron, zinc, and magnesium, which are essential for energy, cognitive development, growth, and immune support.
Our nutritional services are led by Kat, a dedicated clinician with advanced training in sport psychology, applied behavior analysis, and nutrition — including status as a Certified Nutrition Specialist. With evidence-based strategies and compassionate care, Kat works directly with families to build sustainable habits that support long-term wellness.
