Our goal is to make the process of starting counseling as clear and comfortable as possible.
Lotus Counseling & Psychological Services currently offers services on a private pay basis. For clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their insurance provider, we are happy to provide superbills that can be submitted directly to your insurance company.
At this time, we are not in-network with Medicaid or commercial insurance plans, though we are actively working toward credentialing with several providers.
Rates and Insurance
Therapy sessions at Lotus Counseling & Psychological Services are typically 50 minutes in length. The first phase of treatment involves an intake process to better understand your concerns and goals for counseling. Services are offered on a private pay basis.
Consultation Call – Free (15 minutes)
A brief phone consultation to discuss your concerns, ask questions about services, and determine whether Lotus Counseling & Psychological Services is a good fit for your needs. This call also allows us to review next steps and schedule your initial intake appointment if appropriate.
Diagnostic Intake Sessions – $170 per session (50 minutes, typically 2–3 sessions)
The intake process allows us to develop a thorough understanding of your concerns, history, and goals for counseling. During these sessions, we will gather background information, explore current challenges, and work collaboratively to develop an initial treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Individual Counseling – $135 per session (50 minutes)
One-on-one counseling sessions focused on addressing personal concerns, building coping skills, and supporting emotional growth. Sessions are tailored to each client’s goals and may address areas such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, emotional regulation, or behavioral concerns.
Family or Parenting Sessions – $150 per session (50 minutes)
These sessions focus on strengthening family relationships, improving communication, and supporting parents or caregivers in addressing behavioral, emotional, or developmental concerns. Sessions may involve parents only or include family members, depending on the needs of the situation.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services. You may request this estimate prior to beginning services or at any time during treatment.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Change begins with a conversation — we’re here when you’re ready.
